How we calculate your savings

The purpose of this direct cost comparison model is to show the differences in drug acquisition costs of Enolio and its comparators.This model makes no attempt to show the cost of outcomes on a particular treatment or the impact on outcomes of changing from one product to another, it is solely to be used as part of a commercial conversation to articulate differences in acquisition costs.The model calculates the price difference between acquisition costs of Enolio and its comparators, based on the volume of prescribing and the comparators modelled price.

Where available, the Drug Tariff price was used to source prices of comparators, followed by the DM+D price. Where a price was not listed, the cost of prescribing reported in the prescribing data was used. Please note that in this instance, the cost of prescribing is retrospective and may not reflect the current cost of these products.The price of 50 ml x Enolio 10 mcg/ml oral solution is £32.23. The BNF code was used for all products at the AMPP level.
